Most creatures move on the ground at their normal speeds and climb a rough surface or swim at half their speeds (rounded down). A creature can typically jump half their speed (rounded down) without needing to make a skill roll.
Difficult terrain is rough ground or obstacles (such as craggy earth or dense foliage) that Characters can only enter and move through at half speed (rounded down). The GM decides what terrain is difficult.
