The GM decides how many Nova points you must spend and how long the building process takes using the following guidelines: It costs 1 Nova point and 5 minutes to turn a broken computer into a grenade. It costs 2 Nova points and 1 hour to turn a ruined lab into a clean, surgical room. It costs 3 Nova points and 10 days to turn a pile of old spaceship parts into an operational ship.
